What do I do with duplicate booking requests?

As a sitter, you may occasionally get duplicate requests from the same pet parent.

  • Always respond to all requests in the order that they were received—even duplicates.
  • Here’s why: if you don’t respond to an initial message within 72 hours, your sitter profile may automatically be set to away, which means you won't be visible in search until you manually update your status.

We’ll send you reminders to help you keep on top of requests and ensure your calendar is accurate. Once you’ve responded, you can archive messages to remove them from your inbox.
