Though it's rare, occasionally a sitter or dog walker has to cancel at the last minute. If that happens to you, we've got your back: Every booking made through Rover includes reservation protection. That means we'll help you find a replacement sitter or walker on Rover.

- Though availability varies widely, we’ll do everything we can to help you find a great replacement.
- We’ll also provide credit to help cover the cost of the new service.
- If any day of your booking falls on one of our recognised holiday dates and a sitter or walker cancels the booking within 14 days of the service start date, you’re also covered by the Reservation Protection. Here are the holiday rates for 2021:

Note: If the booking is canceled by the pet sitter or walker due to a lack of information or cooperation from you, then you will have to cover the full cost of any new reservation.
